The apartments were designed to allow natural light into the interiors and maintain privacy. The apartments function like individual homes with separate entrances, no shared walls and private gardens.

Services provided: site measure and inspection; research of regulations; negotiations with neighbours; preparation of drawings, documents and forms for council approval/Development Application (including site plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plan, shadow diagrams, statement of environmental effects and development application forms); construction documentation - preparing drawings, details, specifications and schedules; construction consultation; Kitchen and Bathroom design and detailing; selection of internal and external fixtures and finishes;  swimming pool and landscape design/layout. The Double Bay Apartments were designed by Grove Architects, Angela McKenzie of Archetype Building Design Studios worked on the design and documentation of the building.
